Daisy Auger-Dominguez

Daisy Auger-Domínguez has made it her mission to make workplaces more equitable and inclusive. As the Chief People Officer at VICE Media Group, Daisy leads a global team responsible for people operations, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, corporate facilities and real estate, procurement, and social impact practices. Her TEDx talk Inclusion Revolution and upcoming book by the same title call on everyone to take on the work of dismantling racial inequity in the workplace.

Auger-Domínguez has designed, led, and scaled organizational transformations at Moody's Investors Service, The Walt Disney Company, Google, and Viacom, and founded Auger-Domínguez Ventures, a workplace culture consultancy. A dynamic speaker, writer, and advisor, Daisy serves on the boards of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Robert Sterling Clark Foundation, and St. Ann’s Warehouse.  

Understanding Tech Culture and How it is Formed

The tech workplace is dominated by white cisgendered men, and hirers often favor candidates with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from specific schools. This module helps learners understand tech culture, the pitfalls of current practices and structures, identifies areas where changes have been made and data-backed research that supports where changes can occur to create more equity for underrepresented workers.
