Kathia Ramos is an Operations Associate for Tech Workplace Initiatives at the Kapor Center. In this capacity, they work on the team developing and offering the Kapor Center DEIB certificate program. They also help manage Diversity Advocates, a professional learning community advancing diversity and inclusion throughout the tech industry and Our Collective, a network of tech professionals focused on building a more diverse and inclusive workforce for Black and LatinX communities through Employee Resource Groups. Kathia has a background inLGBTQ+ studies; they have served on discussions of experiences of non-binary individuals, in the workplace, and authored a piece on being a better ally, “I Am Neither.”
